From: Davy on 18 Apr 2008 07:36 I am coming round to buying a Gigabyte board rather than my initial choice Intel. The P35 chipset looks about right for my business, sound and and graphics needs. Don't game and don't intend to overclock. The computer needs to be - quiet as possible - stable and reliable - PS2 keyboard - USB2 - min 6 external sockets - e-SATA would be nice - onboard network, sound and video - supports DDR2 800 - Supports CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 Price not a problem. The problem is I cannot find a selector on any website which allows me to enter these requirements (especially the onboard video) and then shows boards which match - not even on Gigabytes site. All the board manufacturers make far too many boards to be able to trawl through the details. Any help? Davy

Can you not tell the difference between personal recommendations and corporate advertising? If not, then I certainly wouldn't trust you to build me a computer. We don't mind your .sig; we don't mind you being part of the group. We draw the line at blatant self-aggrandisement. It is forbidden by the group charter, and you've flown too close to the wind on this a few times now - but the post above was way over the limit.
