In Fedora 8 if I add the logout applet to the gnome panel I get
the green running man icon. But on one of my machines if I
click on that applet, the green running man appears in the
list of applets, but when I select the applet I get a different
icon. It looks like a dark photograph with the lower right
corner turned up. Any clues as to why this is happening?
