Hi All,

I'm stuck! I finally got up and running with the gradient tool and now I'm
having trouble. Here is what I'm wanting to do and doing:

I start a new image and set the bg to the color I want (#330033 which is plum)
I select the gradient tool, which is to the left of the eyedropper on the
Colors pane.
Then the paint bucket modification icon defaults to 'black and white' and no
matter where I click the thing I can't get the color selector to come up. Any
idea how I can solve this dilemma and get back to the color selector?
