Does anyone know what stages of Grub can be placed
in the bootsector portion of an Extended partition - not
in a logical partition or logical drive, but the enveloping
Extended partition itself? No stage? Stage 1.5?
Stages 1.5 and 2? How does one do that?

And what stages can be placed in the bootsector of
a logical partition (i.e. logical drive)?
