You have control of the audio and video quality settings and the program will give you an estimate of filesize before encoding. Back in the days when memory cards were more expensive I used to squash some 2-hour movies for the kids down to 100k or so to fit my leftover 128MB CF cards. While it was uglier, it was still watchable.
