From: Earl Partridge on 5 Mar 2007 20:24 Windows XP... bought this used scanner, downloaded proper drivers. It works fine when I press the green "Scan" button on front. When I click the icon I'm told my scanner can not be found.

The way you scan with the computer is with a Photo Application and the TWAIN interface. Or with a HP provided utility that uses the TWAIN interface. If you do not have a photo editor, you can download and install the free Irfanview. http://www.irfanview.net Get the plug-in also. If you use Irfanview, select the source first then Acquire on the File menu. -- CSM1 http://www.carlmcmillan.com --
