On my HP N600c laptop, the the connection between the power brick and
the laptop bas to be wiggled sometimes.

Does anyone with experience with this model know if the problem is
likely on the MoBo or the power cable. If it's the latter, I'll buy a
knew plug or brick.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

I don't have experience with your model, just some generic advice.
The power plug (coming from the power brick) could be defective if it is
worn or damaged.
Problem is more likely in the DC power jack which is either soldered
or wired to the motherboard. The engineering used by most manufacturers
results in excessive strain on this jack from disconnecting the power brick
or from motion of the power cable during use, causing the jack to crack or
loosen. Most manufacturers would then tell you to replace the motherboard
Often the DC power jack can be repaired or replaced for much less money.
See http://tinyurl.com/2f4bfk for a collection of links, etc. on this
common laptop problem.
