Have a look at your local "freecycle" list, you can get rid of such
stuff quickly on that. Just be careful you don't pick up more than
you get rid of!

I've had a washing machine and dishwasher off it, which was pretty
useful, so it's not all junk! Got rid of something like 12 computers
from my loft, all P3 or P2 with the occasional P4.

What is "freecycle"? Is it a fido area?
