Unless one is gonna change mic's during a perfomance, that is totally a FIXED source, no matter that it's not flat. Sure proximity effect can change that source, but it's still not a VARIABLE filter that can change passively without yelling at the performer, or passing them a different mic. It's like calling a woman a vase case she's technically made up of a lot of water.;-P But it really does miss the point, entirely. JL
