I didn't think that was very critical and I think the concept is somewhat worthwhile. Quote others with a link to their own content if possible. As for Houghi's English, how about translating your post into his native language and having it make sense at all... I do speak other languages and I'm amazed at his use of English. Chuck

He placed the copyright in the message. Say if I copy and paste a complete book here in plain text (or any other group where it would be on topic) and just include the copyright, that would not make it OK to post. If it were so easy to just include the copyright thingy and say it is a credit, I could just copy any CD and DVD, including the copyrights and just say: Hey, I credited the maker, so no problem. -- houghi Please do not toppost http://houghi.org You are about to enter another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land of imagination. Next stop, Usenet

While posting the article complete maybe wasn't the wisest idea, he did leave the copyright attribution intact. Putting the author and copyright at the top of the article would have been even better, but hey...... The sky didn't fall down! The sun didn't extinguish! The oceans didn't dry up! I'm fairly certain that Will had the best intentions. And I'll wager that after this roasting he's getting, he'll be thinking twice about posting in a similar manner in the future. OK, let's move along people....nothing to see here..... vg
