I too have received this message:

Security Account manager initially failed because of the following error:
The handle is invalid: Error status Oxc0000008. Please check OK to shutdown
the system and reboot into Safe Mode, check the event log for more detailed
info.
TRied a repair but that failed, read the article at

Looks to me like another rebuild, twist to the story is that this was
rebuilt last Wednesday, and today same problem, any ideas why this is
happening, I am not looking forward to rebuilding this system weekly.
