These can affect the support you may get. Is it a memory resident program that automatically loads? If so you need to disable it from starting up before uninstalling. Make sure it is not running when uninstalling- some programs uninstall from the control panel, some from your PC. As a broader point it shows why you should back up before any and every new installation so you can restore to that stage if/when needed. You did backup?
From: john redman on 15 Sep 2005 19:01 I've had the program running for many months now so reverting to a previous backup is not an option John R "Alan Smith" <alan(a)hidden.email> wrote in message news:dgcdes$ueg$3(a)news7.svr.pol.co.uk... > > "john redman" <john(a)lixwm.wanadoo.co.uk> wrote in message > news:dgcan6$7ot$1(a)news6.svr.pol.co.uk... >> Anyone managed to uninstall this program. Swapping post orders makes it dificult to follow what is happening, and many people won't try. You'll lose potential help. What about the rest? You only responded to one part of the post. |
