My PDA is an Acer n30-B. It has four hardware buttons, which are configurable in the
Settings - Personal screen.
I used to be able, when the PDA was off, to go directly to the associated programs by just
pressing the relevant button. Lately, regardless of which one I choose, the PDA switches
on and invariably goes to the Today screen. How do I revert to the original behavior ?
Thanks,

Mike

1. Is the Today timeout set? (Settings/Today/Items/Today timeout)

2. After powering on the device (and ending up on Today), does the second
press result in getting into the given app?

Replies to your questions :

1. Timeout is set to 6 hours ( = it reverts to Today screen if device is not used for 6
hours )

2. The answer is yes. The applications are launched correctly

Correction : the PDA wakes up on the last screen before shutdown, for the first 6 hours,
but does NOT accept the button inputs.

What I meant was : it does not accept the inputs when in OFF mode.
