Ok, so I am sitting here looking at this killer Algebra application now
that I just gave it a wicked makeover and I need medals for the kids,
gold, silver, and bronze depending on how they do one each mission (you
know, quiz). So I need to know the three greatest mathematicians, or
something like that.

Candidates?

I already have a great JPG of Einstein -- gotta go with the recognition
factor -- and I have another great image of a mathematician I pretty
much have to use (McCarthy) so that only leaves one slot and it would be
nice to show respect for women and have a babe in there so of course I
am thinking Anna Kournikova... at some point tho I might veer
uncharacteristically towards sanity and want a sorted list of the
greatest mathematicians, mebbe more than three, so... who are they?

btw, I am thinking McCarthy is the gold -- Lisp beats E=m^2/c by a mile.

Oh, man, good call, reminds me (tho that lists him only as an also-ran):
Muhammed ibn Musa al-Khowarizmi! He wrote the book on Algebra!
Literally. Not sure where I can get a picture, tho. Maybe I can give
Anna a beard...

Thx!
