From: kev242@gmail.com on 26 Jul 2006 14:25 I finally got my copy of Windows Pro serv pack 2 full edition. I downloaded the firmware update utility and ran it, it says "this computer does not need this update" and closes, but when I run Bootcamp it says update firmware and closes!! What the hell is going on? I need stupid Windows for 2 applications and so I can finish Psychonauts!!!! I contacted my Apple store but I swear the annoying guy at that place seemed so smug and pleased that it wasnt working and offered me no advice what so ever. Can someone with some experience with this program offer some advice? Im using Intel Core Duo 20" Imac. Thank you very much! Kevin

I had overlooked that article and once I installed the other firmware update I have windows xp pro running fine!! I know this is alot ot ask but do you happen to know if there is any way to get the wireless bluetooth keyboard to work with windows? I have my old school imac usb keyboard plugged into now and it is taking one of the few USB ports I have plus I (of course) like the bluetooth one much better, but while windows seems to recognize bluetooth and installs the apple drivers for it my other keyboard does not get recognized. |
