From: Mackenrick on 8 May 2008 23:40 I use MS Word and MS Fax to occasionally sent faxes. I was able to do this just a couple of months ago but now I can't. I checked in Printers and Faxes and it shows my fax status as Ready. I checked the Fax Concole and in the Outbox there are the three faxes I tried to send just sitting there. For some reason the faxes aren't being sent. I've tried sending from word using the File > Print and choosing Fax. I have also tried the File>Send To>Fax recipient menthod. Neither seem to work. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. Using MS Word 2002, Windows XP Hm SP2 with all updates. -- MacKenrick PS: Is there a way of reinstalling the Fax program if I only have the original Win XP Hm disk (not the SP2 upgrade disk)?

Check the modem's phone-line connections. Might also want to use the device manager to verify that the modem is okay in the system (no yellow ! tags). If okay, launch the Fax Console and run through the configuration wizard again. Click on Tools > Configure Fax. Make sure Send & Receive are checked (enabled).
