Help!

I am learning PHP and i am working on this project for my Database Systems at my school. On my project, i am supposed to create a Spreadhsheet from the databse using PHP. I was browsing through internet for help and came across PEAR's Excel_Spreadheet_Writer Package. I found this blog http://www.ebrueggeman.com/blog/php/excel-spreadsheets-in-php-using-pear/ and downloaded testing package too. But my code doesn't work. I am using Adobe Dreamweaver CS to code PHP files, and all my PHP files are in Shared Server. I went through http://www.sitepoint.com/article/getting-started-with-pear/2 page and tried installing the Package through Command line but in vain. I have Windows XP Home Edition on My computer. Do you think You can help me install PEAR's Excel_Spreadsheet-Writer Package on My Computer? Thank you So Much! Kalyan Thapa
