They are all based on the same conversion chip, as far as I know. Chesen makes the CSC0101A chip. It is 16 pin. It contains a 65C02 processor and 8K of firmware. I don't see a reason for one version to be better than another, unless there are different versions of firmware in them. (The firmware should be a ROM mask, and not easy to change.
