From: Craig on 19 Mar 2005 12:50 I seem to have a hidden file that keeps coming up on my storage cards and Ipaq storage. It is "ignore_my_docs". It's attributes are hidden and archive. I cannot change them unless I pull the cards out and put them in my card reader. I put the card in the reader, change the attributes and delete the files, and they do go away. As soon as I put them back in my Ipaq the file come back. Is this a function of the operating system or is it some sort of a virus? Does anyone know how to change these attributes or even view them for that matter on the pocket PC's? Craig

From: Craig on 19 Mar 2005 13:45 Well that is simply awesome. Cleaned it up right away. At worst I am glad it is not a virus or such and at best it is no longer annoying. Thank-you. To see/change attributes and hidden files consider getting a more featured file explorer. Resco File Explorer is good and well featured (but isn't free). http://www.resco-net.com/explorer.asp This subject has been mentioned in the past, it may be worth looking through the newsgroup archives to see if there is anything relevant to you.
