Under reporting 4 gigs of RAM in XP? I put 2 2 gig sticks in my new laptop, and the BIOS reports 4 gigs, but XP reports only 3 gigs. Now, I know that XP can't recognize 4 gigs, but I have heard that XP should report anywhere between 3.0 to 3.5 gigs (not sure which numbers are accurate). NVidia 9500GT Question I just installed a Nvidia 9600GT series video card. And so far it is really good. I have one problem though. My Viewsonic flat panel can run up to 1920*1200 resolution. OT Microsoft a little slow supporting more than 3.4 GB of RAM? Is there a mobo that is properly designed to use a 64-bit OS ? I've talked to mobo tech supports, and they tell me that for the most part their mobos are designed only for a 32-bit OS. You can run the 64-bit OS on it, but it will not run well.
