Reaching Limits For processors, the ghz limit has been reached assuming one feels heat is bad and I have a feeling that Intel will run the multi-core technology down a rabbit hole the same as they did with upping the processor speed. D-Link driver problem Following the installation of XP SP3 my D-Link driver ceased working. This was and is a know D-Link problem. A DLL file had been overwritten by the update and placed the software over a table and was giving it a continual rogering. hyperlink desktop I have a problem with the desktop all the icons have thir full text undernith and underlined, so a single click opens it. Cool electronics with outside air via hose. Could be interesting idea... to connect the computer to the outside air via hose/tunnels. AMD based Optiplex vs Intel based: Whic more effecient? It seems as tho Dell touts the AMD based Optiplexes (740 I think) as being the most energy efficient. Why is that?
