From: Richard Steiner on 20 Nov 2007 02:29 The folks who purchase the rights to the Palm OS (ACCESS) just released a piece of software called the Garnet VM which runs PalmOS 5.5.1 for the three Nokia webtablets (770, N800, and N810). So far I've gotten a lot of stuff to work from my IIIc including Datebk3 and Datebk4, Calcul-8!, and a whole pile of older games. Yahdice!! :-) pTelnet and EZftp both work through the 770's wifi connection, which is somewhat amusing. Don't know how useful it is, though. I can't get my old copy of Xiino to connect, tho. -- -Rich Steiner >>>---> http://www.visi.com/~rsteiner >>>---> Mableton, GA USA Mainframe/Unix bit twiddler by day, OS/2+Linux+DOS hobbyist by night. Palm, Inc purchased rights to PalmOS +from+ Access so they (Palm, not Access) can develop their own future version of PalmOS. Conduits do not work, Access only have the old legacy PIMs. Have snappy do they run? Is there allot of apps for this Unix dist? Have fun.
