Hi,

I have a Moto Q running Windows Mobile 5 on two Vista laptops. When
originally setting up one of the partnerships, I named the phone after the
laptop it was on...my mistake.

how do I change the name of my mobile phone in WMDC or Sync Center?

I suggest you delete the partnership on the device and PC, then reboot
both. Connect your Smartphone again and make sure you enter a
different name to re-create a new partnership.
