From: Chris Mitchell on 30 Jun 2008 06:24 Whenever I create a new message the associated window appears with the maximise button off of my desktop. How do I change the default position of the new message window such that all of it is visible on my desktop?
From: Roady [MVP] on 30 Jun 2008 07:05 Resize and position it accordingly and hold CTRL when press the X to close the window. This should force storing the location and size of the window in the registry. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "Chris Mitchell" <chris.a.mitchell(a)NOSPAMbtinternet.com> wrote in message news:OW9PJup2IHA.3920(a)TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > Whenever I create a new message the associated window appears with the > maximise button off of my desktop. > > How do I change the default position of the new message window such that > all of it is visible on my desktop? >
From: Vince Averello [MVP - Outlook] on 30 Jun 2008 07:13 Try moving it then closing it. That should set the default. There are keyboard ways of moving the window if you can't use the mouse to do it "Chris Mitchell" <chris.a.mitchell(a)NOSPAMbtinternet.com> wrote in message news:OW9PJup2IHA.3920(a)TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > Whenever I create a new message the associated window appears with the > maximise button off of my desktop. > > How do I change the default position of the new message window such that > all of it is visible on my desktop? >
