I am starting to use Access 2007. I have used previous version of Access. How
do I create a query without having to use the query wizard? I use to be able
to select the table I wanted to use and click the New Object icon on the
toolbar but now the only choices I have makes me do more work. How do I get
to the SQL window without having to use the wizard?

Click on CREATE > QUERY DESIGN and then add the tables you want and go from
there.

Ok, I guess I have to take the long way around everything I do in Access
2007. Thank you for your response.

Not everything but in this case yes. And I don't like that either because I
used to do it the way you did as well.
