I've converted a bunch of wav files in Sonar 7 on my new DAW into mp3 using
the mp3 converter I purchased a few years back from CW. Now today pops up
"The Mp3 converter must be unlocked before use--visit CW to upgrade a
previous version or to purchase a new encoder."
Yikes-I don't know where the version they emailed me went-the website gives
a bunch of instructions and then tells you to reinstall but I have nothing
to reinstall. Any suggestions???
Also-if my DAW is offline--how did Sonar 7 let me convert files yesterday
and now won't let me convert. What'd they put an expiration date on the mp3
encoder that I had or something...?...

Do you still have the original CD for activating the MP3 converter? I
*think* you might need to load that and transfer the activation or license
or something. Not sure... I've never used Cake's converter. A post was
made here recently about doing just that but I can't find it just now...
