From: mtait on 25 May 2006 07:15 Hi - could anyone help me please, I'm trying to draw a globe, with a radial fill, where the radial fill (light if you like) is off centre? I've got the globe, and the fill, but the fill starts dead center - how do I offset it? Thank you very much, Mark
From: Alex Mariño on 25 May 2006 08:05 Select the object, click on the Paint Bucket tool and manipulate the fill with the mouse. Drag the round end to position the fill and drag the square end to manipulate the length and angle of the fill. alex mtait wrote: > Hi - could anyone help me please, I'm trying to draw a globe, with a radial > fill, where the radial fill (light if you like) is off centre? From: mtait on 26 May 2006 03:46 Hi Alex - thank you very much - I'm not a graphics person, and brand new to Fireworks. If I could expand now - I have horizontal and vertical lines on the globe - 2 of each - which I've drawn using the Ellipse tool. Is there anyway to 'tilt' these to give the impression the globe is resting off it's main axis? (sort of like this one: http://www.gps.caltech. edu/~chrisw/figs/globe.jpg ) Thank you, Mark

I would start with the smallest oval on the top, duplicate it and resize. alex mtait wrote: > Hi Alex - thank you very much - I'm not a graphics person, and brand new to > Fireworks. > > If I could expand now - I have horizontal and vertical lines on the globe - 2 > of each - which I've drawn using the Ellipse tool.
