From: Hank Zoeller on 21 Apr 2008 22:38 Hello, I'm configuring zones on a server that I only have access to via a tip connection. The documented way to kill the zone's console login prompt is with the ~. sequence. But, all this does for me is kill my tip connection.. Any ideas? Thank you, -- HZ

But, all this does for me is kill my tip connection.. Read the tip man page.... ~. Drop the connection and exit (you may still be logged in on the remote machine). Note: If you rlogin and then run tip on the remote host, you must type ~~. (tilde tilde dot) to end the tip session. If you type ~. (tilde dot), it terminates the rlogin.
