How to send messege using Ping

From: Himanshu on 7 Sep 2005 02:56 Dear All, I have 2 quries first one is that I have 2 computers having the os winxp-2, connected to each other via cross cable, having the ip 192.168.0.1 & 0.2. I want to know whether there is any way to send the messege using ping or another command on the second machine & vice versa. Second qurey is that suppose if I want to use CMD command in win98 instead of using COMMAND, in the Run option. Plz help, if u know the better solution Reagrds, Himanshu
