Hi,

I have a BlackJack II smartphone which out of the box syncs my mail,
calendar, contacts and tasks. Some tell me that there's a way to sync my
notes as well. How do I configure this?

P.S. The backend server is Exchange 2007 and I'm referring to direct push
here. I'm not interested in hooking up my smartphone to my PC via USB. I want
all the synching to be done wirelessly.

Thanks,

No way as far as I know. Until you said Exchange Sync, I had some options
for you. AFAIK Exchange Sync has never sync'd notes, on either PPC or SP
devices.

There is a way with a third party helper I found mentioned in this forum:

http://www.selfmummy.com/notebarn/
Notebarn: Simple Free Notepad for Smartphone that uses ActiveSync and
DirectPush

The application uses a Task (which does sync through Exchange Push) to ferry
notes back and forth.

Look for the utility called "NotePadSync" on your BJ2 install CD.
I tried it briefly (to a PC via USB) and it looks like it can sync
notes stored on MS Outlook 2008 (trial).

I've not tried it with MS Exchange.
