I remember trying to leave comments some time ago (back before I lost my 48G and 49G+ to my kids) and not being successful. Now that I have a 50g I'll have to try it again. As an aside, I bought the 50g to replace the calculator my daughter killed at college. ("I don't know how the display got smashed like that.") She didn't like the 50g's colors! So for her birthday I tracked down a used 49G+ on eBay and kept the 50g for my Christmas present.

I saw several mentions, and mentioned it myself, for a while, but heard no more; lack of mention of it being fixed may have put off anyone from ever trying to use it again :) I think you have done so outstanding a job in the past, that you may have a hard time topping yourself, which is sort of opposite to what had been the trend at HP :) Enjoy India -- gonna try Mt. Everest? In memory of a different Hillary, the first to scale it: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=18017075 -[ ]-

Under our tropical sun the face plate (the one that use to be gold in the 49g+) has some "lights" like sprikle of different colors, but it is NOT gold. Can you send a picture of that golden 50g ? Thanks. Daniel
