Next: I have DreamWeaver - how many copies of Contribute do I need?
From: dbatbug on 6 May 2008 00:27 I do Web design for clients and am in a situation where I need to allow the client to upload changes to the site I designed for him/her while I still control the site (Template changes, etc.). So I went out and bought Contribute figuring I'd install it on their computer, enable Check In / Check Out and we'd all be one happy family. In reading the manual, it keeps talking about me having to install Contribute on MY computer too in order to run Administrative functions. Am I understanding this correctly? I already bought the copy of Contribute for my client. Do I now have to go out and buy another copy for me and install it even though I already have DreamWeaver? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
