If you have XP Home Edition, boot into Safe Mode by repeatedly tapping
the F8 key as the computer is starting up. This will give you access to
the normally hidden Administrative account. Unless you changed it, the
password is a blank.

If you have XP Pro and/or you changed the actual built-in Administrator
account's password, use NTpasswd to change the Administrator password
to a blank. Then log in and use the User Accounts applet to change the
password to one you won't forget.

Hi,

You can use active@ password changer to reset password. It works great
and saved me before. Really recommended!
