I lost my serial number

From: Catella on 25 Jun 2005 12:41 I purchased a copy of Microsoft Office XP at a garage sale recently. When I got home I realized that the serial number was not on the package. I returned to the woman's house and she said that she didn't know what had happened to it. Is there any way that I can use this copy of Office?

Out of curiosity, is it a full retail version or does it say OEM?
