Finally got a reinstalled OS, and the AIW 9600 is working pretty well.
I really like it, and as most would know, there is a lot to learn about
its capabilities, and so I am tooling along, trying to get it all
figured out.

Just a tiny glitch tho. I am using it to watch TV, and as I was
playing with window sizes and the like, somehow, I got the control
panel attached to the video window, and its stuck there on the top of
the window.

Full screen puts the control panel where I want it, but in the windowed
mode, the panel is attached to the top, and when I move the control
panel, the video window goes with it.....

Assuming that is a clear explanation :-) can anyone suggest how to
break the control panel off of the video window?

Thanks a lot for any help

Haven't had that problem for a long time. Forgot what the fix was back when
I had it. Don't know if they fixed it or if its because I'm using the
"Modern" skin.
If someone doesn't give you a direct answer try changing to Modern in the
configuration program. Can't even get it to attach in MMC7.7 or 9.15 with
that skin.

Bingo! That solved the problem, and is good enough for me :-) Just
changed it, dragged the control panel away, and changed it back, and
all is well.

Much obliged for you taking the time to help me out.
