It was on sale for approx. $30 and it has worked flawlessly for me. Whatever Cable modem you decide to purchase, you will still have to notify your ISP to have them register your particular cable modem on their network. -- Just Me, D

From: tes on 6 Dec 2005 23:21 John, Thanks for the antenna link. I may need to do that, but I still would like to buy my own wireless modem to get rid of the monthly charges. First I need to get a wireless modem, then decide what to do with the signal strength. Hoping to hit a home run and get a modem with more signal strength and not need the antenna modification.
