From: SAM on 14 Feb 2008 13:15 Hi, I transfered an Access database from my old computer running with XP on my new Tablet PC running with Vista professionnal. I use this database to make clients folders. Since I work as a psychologist, I receive my clients at my office and take notes at each appointment with them. I would want to take ink notes directly and freely in their Access files with my stylet without to write in the pop Windows writing box. Is-it possible? Also, some clients folders has annexed files by shortcut outside of the database. But since I tranfered my database and the folder who included annexs, the links are broken, since Vista doesn't have the same files structure than XP. I thought than since the conceptors of Vista had changed the files structure, they will think to put something to link automaticly every linked files made under XP oprerating system. Is someone have some hints to help me to link rapidly my databases files with annexs? Thanks!

Check out ActiveInk - <http://www.activeinksoftware.com/products.html> A demo of the product linking to an access database is here: <http://www.activeinksoftware.com/v5/V5_3.html>
From: SAM on 20 Feb 2008 23:17 Thank Mr. Young for your hint. I undestand that I could use this software to take notes in this software. But the link with each file of each folder of my Access clients database seem difficult. Isn't? Bye! From: Kevin Young on 23 Feb 2008 16:08 Sorry, I can't help you with your file linkage problem but you may get better assistance asking about it in a newsgroup for MS-Access such as Microsoft.public.access as this group is target at Tablet PC's.
