Model: Toshiba Portege m700
OS: Win XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 SP2

While using the writing pad, I can't use gestures to backspace or delete.
I've read the help files and can't scratch out, backspace, etc. My only
option is to click on the word bubble under the writing line and edit the
entire word from the pop-up menu. So, if I make a mistake somewhere within
the word, I have to delete the entire word and start again.

I don't want to use the character pad.

Also, is there any way to keep the Bksp, Del, Tab, Enter, Space, etc pad
open on the right-hand side of the input panel after you begin writing?
