From: BK on 11 May 2008 23:43 Using Power Point 2003. I created a new photo album and inserted approximately 55 individual pictures with each picture on one slide with a title. I then did a view>slide master so that I could set a constant background. Now I have a song track (.wma file) that I want to play over the first 11 slides. On Slide 1 which is a title slide with title and subtitle, I insert>sound from file and select the wma file I want. Then I right click on the sound icon and choose custom animation. I select it to start with previous and set the effect options to stop playing after 11 slides. Problem is that the sound won't start playing!! I've tried setting it to start after previous with no time delay and with a half second time delay and everything else I can think of just to see if I can get the sound to begin playing. I've even tried using different sound files (all of them are .wma) but to no avail. No sound!! Any suggestions??

Another posssibility if you ripped the file from a CD is that it has DRM protection. If it has it will not play in PowerPoint.
