Newbie here. I want to insert a flash media file into a webpage. It is
presently in a video format. When I insert the URL, regardless of the spacing
or characters involved, I get the error message that the URL cannot have
special characters or spacing and it does not. I have moved it to my desktop,
renamed it, et cetera and I still get the same message. Any feedback will be
appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have a URL? Sounds like you have *some* sort of special characters.
Desktop involves spaces - ie C:\Documents and Settings\fred%20bloggs\Desktop
and this will throw errors
