From: Adgiles on 7 Apr 2008 05:20 I have tried to install Access 2003 on a new laptop with Vista Home premium. However it wont have it as it needs files from Office 2003. does anyone know if this can be done without installing office 2003 as the laptop already has office 2007 installed. thanks Allan

You're aware this is a Pocket PC group (a big clue there is the name of the goup has the text "pocketpc" in it), not a Vista or Access or Office group? It's also a developer group (again, note thenot-so-subtle word "developer" in the group name) , not an end-user group. You might go find another group to ask in. -- Chris Tacke, Embedded MVP OpenNETCF Consulting Giving back to the embedded community http://community.OpenNETCF.com "Adgiles" <Adgiles(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:17416A7D-18DF-4ADD-A4CC-CD63F1ACAF56(a)microsoft.com... >I have tried to install Access 2003 on a new laptop with Vista Home >premium. > However it wont have it as it needs files from Office 2003. does anyone > know > if this can be done without installing office 2003 as the laptop already > has > office 2007 installed. > > thanks > > Allan |
