Surely you heard the low pitched part, at something like 180Hz, and not silence? I was surprised to find that at 53 I have no problem hearing the 15kHz whistle. Looking at the spectrum, the amplitude of the 15kHz is far above the amplitude of the 180Hz, but I was still surprised to hear it. Steve
