No, I read what you said.

> How in the hell was what I wrote about me?

Your post was pretty much about all the great things that George has done
for *you*.

I quote just a tiny segment:

"I've experienced countless charitable contributions from
George, both to my church and to other worthwhile organizations with which I
am sometimes associated. I'm talking about equipment contributions, time
and talent, manpower, expertise. And - he even buys lunch when we get
together (well sometimes... but he did make me pay today!)."

So George does you a lot of favors, and you go shill AAPLS for him. Pro quid
pro.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quid_pro_quo

Now there's nothing wrong with being grateful and trying to help George, but
it shows that you've been bought and paid for.

You couldn't have been more transparent, if you tried.

Have you ever wondered about my contributions of equipment, time, money, and
expertise? No, I didn't think so. I guess I could brag about them. But
that's not my thing. I surely wouldn't induce one of the beneficiaries of my
work to post in AAPLS to make me look good! No way!

Do take those night courses in reading comprehension Arny. You clearly miss
the point. George did for organizations - not for me. I was simply witness
to those.

Arny - you are a funny guy. But then I like to watch invalids fight to make
their way through automatic doors too. Watching you wiggle about trying to
twist points is quite amusing.

Your right - I don't wonder about them. But then I didn't mention the
things I did just to puff George up either. I responded to a very specific
statement by you.

What's unclear about ""I've experienced countless charitable contributions
from
George, both to my church and to other worthwhile organizations with which I
am sometimes associated." ?

Key words "With which I am associated".

George helps you float your boat. BTW I have no problem with that, but let's
call a spade a spade, eh?

I also occasionally and 2 and 2 and get 4. ;-)

Whatever floats your boat. Have you tried dog fighting?

It should be instructive, as well.

Right, its all about Mike Marlow and his favorite hobbies.

Ok Arny - one last time. I'm going to type very slowly so that you can get
this. I made reference to things I was witness to. I realize I'm going way
out past any definition that could apply to you here, but most normal people
would consider that to be exactly what I stated - witness, and not personal
benefit. Think about it Arny - think hard. I'll give you some time...

Which makes my observations infinately more valid than your baseless claims.

Ok - a spade is a spade. Feel better now?

Not going to do your homework for you Arny. Simply go back to my first post
a couple of days ago in this thread. Your words were left intact in my
reply. I realize that if you did that, you would be forced to comment in
context and your propensity for twisting things and driving threads off into
some place that only your martyr complex understands, would be thwarted, but
go ahead and give it a try Arny - you'll find it enlightening.

Mike, you seem to be so effective at circular logic that I'm happy to leave
you spinning, and spinning, and spinning, and spinning...
