From: Sinister on 29 Apr 2008 12:51 Here is my problem. I have to be able to identify new tasks that have been added since a schedule was baselined. I would like to create a filter to single these out, but I don't know what field to filter against.
From: Jonathan Sofer on 29 Apr 2008 13:12 If a schedule is baselined, all new tasks will not have a baseline. You can filter of [Baseline Start] = NA. If the filter does not recognize this, try [Baseline Start] > 55000 Jonathan "Sinister" <Sinister(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:619BF989-706D-49CB-8992-0299A01CD060(a)microsoft.com... > Here is my problem. From: Jack Dahlgren on 29 Apr 2008 13:13 You could filter to see which tasks have a baseline value. -JAck Dahlgren "Sinister" <Sinister(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:619BF989-706D-49CB-8992-0299A01CD060(a)microsoft.com... > Here is my problem. From: JulieS on 29 Apr 2008 19:28 Hello Sinister, In addition to Jonathan's and Jack's good advice, you may also find using the Created date field added to a task view may be useful. I hope this helps. Julie Project MVP "Sinister" <Sinister(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:619BF989-706D-49CB-8992-0299A01CD060(a)microsoft.com... > Here is my problem. If a Task doesn't have a Baseline, this is a good indicator that it has probably been added since the project was baselined. But it is not a guarantee, because individual tasks can be baselined or have their baseline cleared at different times. The Created field helps but also if you copy and paste Tasks from other projects, say a template that you might use, their Created date will be earlier than that of any Task that you create fresh, even though you might add them to your plan at any time. The best way to keep a record of and track the history of your plan is to save the current version of it every day, with an appropriate name, eg: "My Plan 28-04-2008..." "My Plan 29-04-2008..."
