From: "Microsoft Projects 2003" <Microsoft Projects on 30 Dec 2005 14:15 I am currently interested in purchaseing Microsoft Project. Is there a difference between the Year? What is the difference between proffessional and standard? What does AE mean?
From: "Jan De Messemaeker" <jandemes at prom hyphen ade dot on 30 Dec 2005 14:56 Hi, If you do not use or intend to use Project Server, the Enterprise product, there is no difference at all between standard and professional. Professional can link to Server and Standard can't, that's all. And the difference between the years is tiny, very tiny. But do look for a version inclusing at least one Service Pack, especially 2003 Standard; in the original version (=pre-SP1) it had some very annoying bugs. Hope this helps, -- Jan De Messemaeker Microsoft Project Most Valuable Professional http://users.online.be/prom-ade/ +32-495-300 620 "Microsoft Projects 2003" <Microsoft Projects 2003(a)discussions.microsoft.com> schreef in bericht news:D96352A6-3C44-493F-86F6-FC48C163E4D8(a)microsoft.com... > I am currently interested in purchaseing Microsoft Project.
