From: chichi8 on 20 Sep 2006 11:25 Is there a way to convert a jpeg to vector art in Fireworks like you can in Flash. If not is there a way to do it in flash and export it in Fireworks to save the vector art as a jpeg?

From Flash you can export it as an Illustrator file and open that in Fireworks. Then you can still resize real vector shapes in Fireworks and export to any bitmap format it supports from there. Both FreeHand and Illustrator have better bitmap tracing tools than Flash though, especially Illustrator CS2 with Live Trace. To export an image in JPEG format from Flash, choose File > Export > Export image.
