I think it's time Microsoft were forced to send out update disks to
all registered users - *every* time you have to patch something.

They'd soon learn to properly test their buggy shite.

IF Microsoft had to send out update disks I'd buy stock in disk-making
companies ;-)

Excellent idea. But the world being as real as it is, Microsoft has
set up the next best thing --- Microsoft/Windows update. Of course,
it helps to have a broadband connection. Maybe one day, Microsoft
will be allowed to buy and operate its own communications company
as well as develop it into a monopoly.
