Try manually moving the Apple "All Programs"=20 menu entry to some position (eg. under Accessories) other than where the = original installer log records them as being and you will find a=20 completely new Apple entry after the update. Obviously, if the update=20 simply overwrites the previous executable(s) with the same name, in the=20 same directory/folder, the manually relocated links/shortcuts will still = work. I seem to recall reading something recently, which indicated that a=20 future OOo release will create, or offer to create, desktop icons for=20 Windows users. If this is true, then the installer program should be=20 able to update/replace them. As an interim alternative to "re-associating" your OOo desktop icons,=20 you could simply delete your existing OOo links/shortcut/icons before=20 updating and then drag copies from the new OOo entries the "All=20 Programs" menu to the desktop.
