Issue with Conn4x

From: geekerbox on 22 Dec 2007 12:21 Hi, I was trying to use Conn4x with my HP 50g and it doesn't work. I believe the drivers (I'm using Windows Vista). Drivers are working because I can use the calculator with no batteries when connected to the PC, but Conn4x doesn't find the calculator, it freezes "Looking for the calculator". Do you know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks. PS: I've followed this tutorial to try get it working: http://www.educalc.net/287480.page

I have version 2.3 build 2434 (it came on the CD from when I purchased the 50g in Jan 2007) and it works fine with WinXP. I don't have Vista, but I've heard that sometimes the older versions of Conn4x are more compatible than the newer ones. S.C.
