That's good enough to qualify for me... :) Speaking of support, if you happen to see this Steve, what is the way to fix the url of the CVF help from the CD to the local disk copy? I reinstalled on a new PC and for some reason the files were copied but the links still refer to the CD -- trying the redirect via the Windows popup search box doesn't work, either, even though I can go to a browser window and open them manually. If you happen to know a cure, it would be appreciated... --

You might try (re) installing the CVF 6.6C update. I can see code in there that tries to fix up things, but it's been a looooong time. If you have more CVF questions, please ask them in the Intel Visual Fortran user forum. -- Steve Lionel Developer Products Division Intel Corporation Nashua, NH For email address, replace "invalid" with "com" User communities for Intel Software Development Products http://softwareforums.intel.com/ Intel Fortran Support http://support.intel.com/support/performancetools/fortran My Fortran blog http://www.intel.com/software/drfortran

OK, thanks, Steve, I'll give that a go--I don't recall if I tried to reinstall the update or not. I had sorta' thought the CVF might be considered even further OT in current Intel forum than here, despite the earlier connections... --

No, we welcome CVF users there. You won't get "official" help, but there are many CVF-knowlegable users there. -- Steve Lionel Developer Products Division Intel Corporation Nashua, NH For email address, replace "invalid" with "com" User communities for Intel Software Development Products http://softwareforums.intel.com/ Intel Fortran Support http://support.intel.com/support/performancetools/fortran My Fortran blog http://www.intel.com/software/drfortran
